How to manage your website

You can change the words and photos on every page yourself, in one place, without any code. Here’s how.

Everything happens in the Site Hub. Log in, then click Site Hub (the star) at the top of the left-hand menu. The rhythm is always the same: pick a tab, change the words, press Save changes.

★ The Site Hub (start here)

The Site Hub has a tab for each page: Homepage, Four Elements, My Story, Shop, Merch and MoJo. There are also tabs for Menus & footer, Photos, Settings and Stats.

Inside each page tab, the sections are listed in the same order as on the page. Click a section’s name to open it.

Saving clears the cache for you, so your changes show straight away. The View this page button opens the page in a new tab so you can check it.

1 Changing words

  1. Open the tab for the page, then open the section you want.
  2. Change the words in the box.
  3. Press Save changes at the bottom.
Made a mistake? Empty the box and save, and the original wording comes back. Anything you’ve changed shows an edited label, with the original underneath. In headlines, wrap words in *stars* to make them the accent italic, for example Yes You *Fucking* Can.

2 Swapping a photo

  1. Open the Photos tab.
  2. Press Choose photo next to the photo you want to change. Upload a new one or pick one from your Media Library.
  3. Update the Photo description so it describes the new photo, then press Save changes.
Put original back returns the photo that came with the site. Smaller files keep the site fast. Changed to a photo with different hair? It’s a good time to update the brand colour too.

3 Changing the brand colour

One highlight colour is used for buttons, links, the italic words in headlines and the sparkles. Change it once and it updates everywhere.

  1. Open the Settings tab.
  2. Click the Brand accent colour square, pick a colour, then press Save changes.
Want to try a colour first? The style guide has a live colour picker.

4 The moving roles strip

On the Homepage tab, open Moving roles strip. Put one role per line, then save. It re-spaces itself automatically.

5 Videos, buttons and links

To change a video, copy its link from YouTube and paste it over the old one in the Homepage tab, under Free guidance on Jo’s YouTube channel. The thumbnail updates when you save.

Button wording is in each section. Web addresses for links to other sites, such as your social media, are in the section they belong to or in Menus & footer.

6 Menus and footer

The Menus & footer tab holds the wording used on every page, such as the top menu and the footer. Change it once and it updates on every page.

7 Your shop, merch and MoJo products

Products, prices and product photos live in TOM CRM. The website copies them automatically.

  1. Add or edit a product in TOM CRM. It appears on the site within a day, or straight away if you press Sync products from TOM CRM now on the Site Hub’s Start tab.
  2. Show or hide a product with its Include in Online store switch in TOM CRM. If a product goes missing from the shop, check this switch first.
  3. Feature products on the homepage: on the Homepage tab, open Find the path that fits where you are and type the product names, one per line.

8 Stats

The Stats tab shows how people use the site: page views, Buy now clicks, videos played, quiz results and forms sent. Choose a period at the top.

Stats use no cookies and no personal details, just daily totals. Your own visits while logged in aren’t counted. Real baskets and orders are in TOM CRM.

9 Analytics, cookies and policies

To switch on Google Analytics, paste your Measurement ID (it looks like G-XXXXXXX) on the Settings tab. It only runs once a visitor accepts cookies. The Settings tab also has buttons to edit your Privacy and Cookie policies.

When to call us: changing the layout, adding new pages or sections, the quiz questions, or anything involving payments or the contact form connection. We’re always happy to help.
